A Complete Video Recording Studio
True DVD-quality video. Front and rear cameras that can record separately or simultaneously. Adjustable frame rate, compression ratio and resolution on each video input provide ultimate flexibility. Four (4) microphones, inside and outside the car, ensure clear, two-channel audio recording. Overhead-mounted forward-facing camera allows recording in any direction. Rear facing low-light camera, with wide-angle view and infrared lighting, provides backseat coverage.
Digital Vision Anytime, Anywhere
In addition to our patented Pre-Event Recording support, Vision Hawk offers the powerful evidence-gathering capability of Background Recording. This is the system’s unique capability to capture data-documented snapshots from your car—all the time. You also have the capability to record and playback simultaneously. VisionHawk includes an integrated Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, and the GPS data can be interfaced with dispatch for other applications. An interface to most radar systems allows radar information to be recorded with video.
System Mounts Inside The Car
Enclosed system components mount inside the car, under the passenger seat. They are protected in a compact, key-locked, galvanized steel vault that is easily secured in place without removing the seat. The available removable hard drive can be conveniently mounted in the console, in the radio rack, or on the cab partition—wherever is most convenient.
Video Transfer Options
Upload your secure data by wireless Ethernet transfer from car to station, by wired Ethernet transfer, or by removable hard drive. You choose the transfer method that best meets the needs and preferences of your agency.
Data Security
VisionHawk provides completely defensible, tamper-proof evidence. Integrity-checking information is recorded in the car with every video file. The server software re-checks this information when the video is transferred.
