Analog Video Systems
The Investigator™ and PowerCam X™ police video systems have been designed especially for evidence collection and intelligence gathering normally performed by detectives. It also has applications for agencies where officers serve as a patrol or traffic officer as well as an investigator. These systems are conveniently dash mounted for use during traffic stops or long periods of surveillance. It can quickly be detached from its mounting bracket to be used at any crime scene investigation, day or night.
With their quick release mechanism, they disconnect in less than two seconds to be used outside the vehicle for interviews, interrogations, close ups of wounds, drug and gang intelligence gathering, etc. Four microphones are available to receive audio evidence comprising of a lapel microphone worn by an officer or informant, a crime scene microphone built into the back of the camera module for precise articulation and minimum background noise, the camera's own built-in microphone, and with the Investigator Plus a covert microphone in the back seat.
