International Police Technologies, Inc ® New Console Mounting Options For VisionHawk ™ System

International Police Technologies (IPT) now offers a console mounting option for its digital in-car video system, the VisionHawk ™. In most law enforcement vehicles the VisionHawk ™ system mounts in an overhead position between the sun visors. The new console allows mounting in any law enforcement vehicle.

Using console manufacturer specifications, IPT provides mounting plates to install the control unit in any console. The VisionHawk ™ front camera and 3.5 inch monitor are mounted near the rear view mirror. The VisionHawk ™ rear seat camera mounted either with the front camera, or the back seat. Both the console mount and the rear seat camera position are customizable features offered free-of-charge by IPT. The new console mount is designed to accommodate newer cars such as the Impala and Charger with less headroom and interior space.
